Last updated: June 19, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the websites, application, DRC Scanner, and related services (the "Services") provided by Data Revenue LLC ("DataRevenue"). It supplements our Terms and Conditions; capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given there. We may update this AUP from time to time by posting a revised version.
By using the Services, you agree not to engage in, facilitate, or permit any of the following.
1. Unlawful, harmful, or infringing use
- Use the Services in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Upload, submit, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, deceptive, or that violates intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Use the Services to develop or operate anything that competes with the Services, or to benchmark for a competitor, without our written consent.
2. Data and scanning authorization
- Connect the DRC Scanner to, or profile, only systems and databases you own or are expressly authorized to access. You are responsible for obtaining all necessary authorizations before scanning.
- Do not submit, through the questionnaire, chat, or any input field, protected health information (PHI), payment card data, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal data, except as expressly supported and agreed in writing.
- Do not submit personal data you lack a lawful basis or authorization to share, or that you are contractually or legally prohibited from disclosing.
3. Security and integrity
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other users' accounts or data, or any systems or networks connected to the Services.
- Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures, except under a written authorization (such as an agreed penetration-testing engagement).
- Do not introduce malware, ransomware, or any malicious or disruptive code.
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services, including through denial-of-service activity or excessive automated requests.
4. Misuse of the platform
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code, models, weights, or training data, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
- Do not resell, sublicense, rent, or provide the Services to third parties except as expressly permitted.
- Do not scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Services other than your own Customer Data through supported features.
- Do not misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use the referral program to submit fraudulent, purchased, or unconsented leads, or to send unsolicited bulk communications ("spam").
5. AI and output use
- Do not use the Services or any AI-generated output to produce unlawful, infringing, or deliberately misleading material, or to present DataRevenue valuation estimates as audited figures, guarantees, or formal accounting determinations.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take other action we deem appropriate, with or without notice, consistent with our Terms and Conditions. We may also report activity to law enforcement where required or appropriate. Suspension or termination for a violation does not entitle you to a refund.
7. Reporting
Report suspected violations, security issues, or abuse to hello@datarevenue.io.
